About
I am an Accounting Ph.D. student at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (expected graduation May 2024). My research interests lie in private markets and banking, leveraging my institutional knowledge to bring a unique perspective to market- and policy-relevant accounting research. I will be joining the Daniels College of Business at the University in Denver as an assistant professor in the Fall of 2024.
Prior to beginning my Ph.D. studies, I worked in the finance industry for over 15 years, first in investment banking at FBR and UBS, then as a portfolio manager at a $5 billion asset management firm.
I hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
